During the 7th CrimEx session, held in Luxembourg in June 2018, the CrimEx members, in close cooperation with representatives of the judicial training schools from the SPCs (Algeria, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia) and from EU Member States (Belgium, Portugal, and Spain), together with the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), UNODC, CoE-HELP Program, the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), the Siracusa International Institute, and the Euro-Arab Judicial Training Network, identified their training needs in the field of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
Against this background, the objective of this Training of Trainers (ToT) session was to train the SPCs on the EuroMed Justice ToT documents, built around the 5 pillars:
- The CrimEx docs;
- The EuroMed Justice Training Needs Analysis;
- The EuroMed ToT Methodology;
- The EuroMed ToT Manual; and
- The EuroMed ToT Curricula.
